Our impact
Golf is the beginning.
First Tee-Augusta builds character and life skills through golf, helping young people carry confidence, judgment, and respect into their homes, schools, and community.
Every lesson reaches beyond the course. Young people practice skills they can use to understand themselves, work with others, meet challenges, and make thoughtful choices.
Programming in our community
More ways to meet young people where they are.
First Tee-Augusta brings golf and life skills to schools, camps, neighborhood community centers, and focused experiences for young people, including youth from economically distressed communities.
School Golf Program
Golf programming reaches students through the school setting, expanding access to the game and its character-building lessons.
Summer Camps
Full-day summer programming runs Monday through Friday on First Tee-Augusta's shared campus with The Patch.
Daily Programming
Participants attend Golf & Life Skills classes in the evenings at First Tee-Augusta, once a week for 1.5 hours, across four eight-week sessions each year, for ages 7 to 18.
Belonging on the Fairway
In this two-week golf and life skills experience, middle schoolers from an economically distressed Augusta community move from learning fundamentals to playing on the course.
Summer outreach in neighborhood community centers
All summer long, First Tee-Augusta takes its programming into Richmond County neighborhoods. Through Richmond County Parks & Recreation, coaches lead free weekly one-hour golf and life skills clinics at nine community centers: Sandhills, Henry Brigham, Carrie Mays, Bernie Ward, Blythe Park, Robert Howard, Warren Road, May Park, and McBean.
Each clinic introduces young people to golf fundamentals and life skills built on First Tee's Nine Core Values and Five Key Commitments, taught through fun, engaging games and activities. The clinics give kids in economically distressed communities a first experience of the game right in their own neighborhood, at no cost, and a pathway into First Tee-Augusta's full programming.
Together, these programs extend First Tee-Augusta's reach beyond a single course or season and create meaningful points of access for young people throughout the community.

A par-3 day with purpose
Nine holes. Nine values.
Every hole on The Loop carries one of First Tee's Nine Core Values. Play the course, live the values, and support the young people learning them every day.
Each hole teaches a value
Hole 1 plays for Honesty, hole 2 for Integrity, all the way through hole 9 and Judgment. Nine holes, nine core values, one great cause, made possible by our nine Core Value hole sponsors.
Hole 1 Honesty · Hole 2 Integrity · Hole 3 Sportsmanship · Hole 4 Respect · Hole 5 Confidence · Hole 6 Responsibility · Hole 7 Perseverance · Hole 8 Courtesy · Hole 9 Judgment
Respect Every shot, every playing partner, every volunteer.
Closest to the pin, every hole
It's a par-3 course, so every hole is a contest hole. Closest to the pin on each of the nine holes takes home a prize. Plus the hole-in-one contest on the 1st hole: make an ace and win $100, presented by our Hole-In-One Sponsor. Entry is $10 per player, payable by cash or check on the 1st hole before your first shot.
Putting contest
Roll it before your tee time. Prizes for the top finishers, provided by our putting contest sponsor.
A gift for every golfer
Every player receives a Core Values Cup player gift at check-in. Details to come.
Awards reception
Food, contest winners, the auction and raffle close, and the fundraising total, all at 5:30 PM back at First Tee-Augusta.
